I received this vacuum last week and it has surpassed expectations. We have hardwood floors and area carpeting throughout. The vacuum handles the changing surfaces without a problem. We bought this vacuum because we have two cats that like to spread kitty litter. This vacuum picks up the litter with no problem even at the edges of the carpeting when changing from hardwood to carpeting.

Absolutely love this. It’s light weight, hand held and floor vac. Does great on tile and floor rug. Only wish it would flatten down enough to go under tables or beds.
Update- it started to not work 6 months in. It shows fully charged but will shut off as soon as you turn it on. The hand held will work if you take it off the unit the vacuum itself won’t. I have fully cleaned all pieces, and tried different outlets and made sure it is connecting on the stand. Very disappointed. It’s basiclly useless now.

It does everything I expected. Initial set up out of the box took 5 minutes. Stores away easily and it’s so lightweight that my arms aren’t tired afterward from pushing and pulling. It picked up normal dirt/crumbs plus pet hair from both floors and carpet. I did three rooms and still had plenty of charge left to do more.

I just got this and have used it for 2 days and I have to say I love it. I just returned 2 others because they did not have suction or were awkward but this has amazing power and is so lightweight. I do have a couple of things I wish they could fix: FIRST: You the long arm does now bend all the way down so you can only push it a short distance under things because the base pops up and does not function. It would have been so much better if the arm bent all the way down to let the base stay on the floor and roll under furniture and low tables. SECOND: the cup does not hold a lot so you have to empty it a few times if you are doing a big area and have a lot of dog hair. No big deal. It is the arm bending that I really would love to see fixed.

I was getting tired of lugging my heavy vacuum cleaner and decided to purchase the Roomie. I am so happy I did, it makes it a pleasure to vacuum instead of a dreaded chore. My husband liked it so much he started to vacuum and wouldn’t stop even though I’d told him I had already done so, he was trying to find a speck to vacuum. Haha, I love it. We’re having our bathroom remodeled and there was a fine dust all over our hardwood floors. The Roomie picked it up it easily. If my kids need vacuums for their apartments, I’m buying them a Roomie! So far loving my Stick Vacuum from Roomie Tec. It has good suction, handles well and is light, holds charge well. Love that it folds down as well. The reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is the brush head doesn’t adjust to lie flat, so I’m unable to get under my furniture unlike my previous stick vac, so I have to remove it from the stick and add the crevice tool to get under the furniture. The charging station looks cool, but for my preference is a bit cumbersome and takes up extra space. It would be better if the crevice tool was attached to the vacuum and it had a simple AC plug right into the vacuum – would be more space efficient. Totally minor design issues!Very happy with my purchase. Thanks!

It is a perfect vacuum for doing a quick pick up of dog hair but doesn’t do much more. It won’t even pick up a leaf or a small kernel of something.
