So easy to put together, and…take apart. I have bad arthritis in my thumbs, so it is very hard for me to put anything together or pull or twist. This vacuum is very light weight, but very powerful. Two speeds! Oh, I had fun cleaning my front room, kitchen and dining room! It just gobbled everything up! I even ran it over my rug (the one that gets everything stuck in it and is hard for even my powerful Stark to get clean) and the Roomie Tec got it totally clean. I ran over the carpet twice to get everything, but have to do that with the Stark as well. Then, went to empty the canister that holds the dirt (hint: make sure you open it when its directly over a garbage can-lol!), it emptied right out!
Oh, I meant to say the battery was fully charged right out of the box, but I guess that you guessed that by now. LOL! It doesn’t need a charging base because they provide a cord to plug into the side of the vacuum where the battery is housed.

[Reviewed on Amazon] I live in a 690 square foot condo so when my old traditional vacuum began to die, I decided to try something lighter and smaller. I have mostly laminate floors, with a couple of thin area rugs. I feel like I’m using a child’s toy, but this thing works great. It gets into small spaces, and lights them up so I can see where I’m going. The max setting is more than powerful enough to suck up kitty litter (which my traditional vacuum left behind) and it’s a breeze to reconfigure. I’ve been able to stand it on it’s own, using the directions that came with it, but it’s so small that I can use the charging station for the body and a utility hood for the floor piece. Vacuuming used to be something that I hated, but now it’s so easy that I vacuum most days.

[Reviewed on Amazon] My 1500 sq ft house is now about 75% hardwood floor, including the kitchen, with area rugs throughout. I was seeing dirt build up everywhere and sweeping was becoming very time consuming. I wanted an inexpensive cordless vac that would have enough battery to complete a daily vacuuming session. After researching numerous cordless vacuums for several weeks, I decided on the Roomie Tec. At $89 it was under my cost limit, and the battery lasts for around 25 mins using eco speed and high power for the area rugs. It is light, relatively quiet ( doesn’t send the cat running in panic like the large corded vacuum does}, and is very easy to maneuver completely flat under chairs and cabinets. It also can be used as a hand vac for walls, ceilings and upholstery.Another plus is that the floor stick comes in two pieces, so it can be used as a short floor sweeper for sofa or even bedding, or use both for regular floor vacuuming.
It has a Li ion battery that charges in a couple of hours, and very important, will shut off the charge when it is full, thus preventing battery burn out. A replacement battery is available for about $35 if needed.
Over all, I am very pleased with this purchase and would highly recommend it for quick clean ups on rugs and hardwood floors. If you have a fully carpeted home, then it’s better to consider a more expensive Dyson or a corded vacuum.

My house is about 1800 sq feet and I got rid of my heavy and inefficient Hoover Wind Tunnel even though it we only 2 years old. The only small problem with such a light weight vacuum cleaner is I have to empty the dirt from the canister almost every other day.

We seem to accumulate allot of fur on our stairs. With the hand held attachment I can sweep up the entire flight of stairs in less than 2 minutes. Its light, very maneuverable and much more quiet than our big dyson.

I contacted customer service and they have a replacement filter but not the replacement dust bin. So I immediately think well now what. I received another email from customer service and they are going to send me a NEW vacuum. I couldn’t believe it when I read the email. That is what customer service is supposed to be. I can’t wait to receive my new vacuum because we love it! [Reviewed on Amazon] I use this for my hallway and stairwell, which both have hardwood floors, and it works great. It’s got pretty good suction power for the size and it’s pretty light. The one thing that I find a little annoying it sticks against the baseboard when I’m moving it near the wall. I guess the material is soft rubber instead of hard plastic so as I’m moving it along the wall it doesn’t just slide along like my full-sized vacuum does. It’s a minor thing but thought I would mention it. Maybe future versions will be made to slide better.

The vacuum itself is the best I’ve ever had, amazing suction. I passed it thru a carpet I thought was clean and it picked up so much I was really impressed. The battery life is typical of a cordless vacuum. Design is nice and the light helps you see a little better when cleaning in dim lighting
